Sunflower Field Teacher Digital Art Project

Description: Let your students’ creative side shine! In this activity*, students will use different types of painting tools and art techniques to create a beautiful composition of a Sunflower Field inspired the Vincent Van Gogh’s style. Showing the easy-to-follow step-by-step process filled with images and pictograms on your smart TV, will help guide your students into creating their own masterpiece. While working on this project, students will be practicing various life skills from setting up and organizing their workspace, to cleaning up once finished. They will also work on their executive functioning skills by following the steps required, and by planning and making decisions related to the production of their art

*This art activity was created for special needs students. It may take several sessions to complete depending on their attention span, fine motor skills and independence level.

Conversely, any student from pre-kindergarten to grade 5 (4 to 10 years old) will enjoy creating their own masterpiece while following our step-by-step instructions or by using the materials as they please.

• Students will paint dashed lines to create the illusion of movement in their sky.
